Indications
Triax-Meta (Tiratricol) is a thyroid hormone analogue derived from triiodothyronine (T3), used in the management of certain thyroid disorders and as an adjunct in resistant obesity or metabolic imbalance. It works by stimulating metabolism, promoting fat oxidation, and enhancing energy expenditure, making it effective for supporting weight reduction in selected cases. Triax-Meta also assists in the regulation of lipid metabolism, helps maintain lean body composition, and has been studied for its potential role in controlling hypercholesterolemia.

Side Effects
Possible side effects include symptoms of hyperthyroidism such as palpitations, increased heart rate, sweating, anxiety, irritability, headaches, and tremors. Prolonged or high-dose use may cause muscle loss, insomnia, excessive weight reduction, or cardiovascular strain. In sensitive individuals, it may also lead to heat intolerance and gastrointestinal discomfort.

Effective Dose
0.35 mg – 1.05 mg / day, depending on individual response and therapeutic goals.
